At Chiang Mai Elephant Home there's no formal schedule — aside from pick-up times, all other times shown are approximate.
Day 1

Hotel Pick-up

Drive South of Chiang Mai
- Approx. 1 hour through nature landscapes, agricultural areas and forested hills
- A quick stop at a local market to explore, grab coffee and a snack

Jungle Trek
- 2 hours hiking through jungle, farmland and rice terraces, learning about tropical ecosystems from your local guide

Picnic Lunch
- A delicious picnic lunch of traditional Thai food in the jungle

Afternoon Trekking & Waterfall
- More trekking through jungle and agricultural areas
- Time at waterfalls to swim and relax

Home-Cooked Dinner
- Traditional Thai food for dinner — feel free to watch or help out in the kitchen

Overnight Stay
- A relaxed evening and a good night's sleep in a bamboo hut with mosquito nets
Day 2

Breakfast & Travel to the Elephant Home
- Enjoy breakfast, then travel to Chiang Mai Elephant Home and change into uniforms

Introduction to the Elephants
- Your guide explains the day's activities and shares the elephants' history and behavior
- Learn to make vitamin balls and tamarind treats

Feed, Observe & Interact with the Elephants
- Feed the elephants from your own basket — vitamin balls, bananas, sugar cane and grasses
- Plenty of photo opportunities in their natural home

Buffet Lunch
- Traditional Thai food and fresh fruit, with drinking water provided

Mud Spa & River Bathing
- Take a mud spa with the elephants (wear your swimsuit)
- Walk to the river to bathe and brush the elephants — more photo opportunities
