Full Day Elephant and Zipline Experience

Itinerary

Full day  ·  Pickup between 8:00 – 8:30 am, return between 4:30 – 5:00 pm. There's no formal schedule once you're with the elephants, so times below are approximate.

1. 8:00 – 8:30 AM
   Hotel Pick-up

   • Pick up from your hotel or accommodation in Chiang Mai City
   • Drive approx. 1 hour south through nature landscapes, farmland and forested hills, with a quick stop at a local market for coffee and snacks
2. Midday
   Arrive at Chiangmai Elephant Home

   • Change into a uniform provided for camp activities
   • Your guide explains the day's activities and shares elephant history and behavior
3. Late Morning
   Elephant Experience

   • Learn to make the elephants' vitamin balls and tamarind treats
   • Feed the elephants with a basket of vitamin balls, bananas, sugar cane and grasses
   • Observe, interact and play with the elephants in their natural home, with plenty of photo opportunities
   • Enjoy a buffet lunch of traditional Thai food and fresh fruit, with drinking water provided
   • Take a mud spa with the elephants (wear your swimming suit)
   • Walk down to the river to bathe and brush the elephants
4. Afternoon
   Zipline Adventure

   • Say farewell to the elephants and your new friends at Chiangmai Elephant Home
   • Head to the zipline course for 26 platforms — 12 ziplines, 1 abseil, 2 spiral staircases, a tree house, air skateboarding, an air bicycle and a 360° panoramic mountain view
5. 4:30 – 5:00 PM
   Return to Hotel

   • Return to your hotel or accommodation in Chiang Mai City
