Itinerary

~6 hours  ·  All times are approximate except hotel pick-up. The order of stops may vary between morning and afternoon sessions.

1. 8:00 AM
   Hotel Pick-up & Scenic Drive South

   • Pick-up from your hotel or accommodation in Chiang Mai City between 8:00 – 8:30 am.
   • Drive approx. 1.5 hours south of Chiang Mai through nature landscapes, farmland and forested hills.
   • Quick stop at a local market to explore, grab coffee and a snack.
2. Arrival & Uniforms

   • Arrive at Chiang Mai Elephant Home and change into a uniform provided by us.
3. Introductory Discussion About the Elephants

   • Your guide explains the day's activities and shares the elephants' history and behavior.
4. Prepare Food for the Elephants

   • Learn to make the elephants' vitamin balls and tamarind treats.
5. Feed, Observe, Interact & Take Photos with the Elephants

   • Feed the elephants from your own basket — vitamin balls, bananas, sugar cane and grasses.
   • Observe, interact and play with the elephants in their natural home as you learn about their behavior and history, with plenty of photo opportunities.
6. Enjoy a Buffet Lunch

   • Traditional Thai food and fresh fruit, plus a bottle of drinking water.
7. Mud Spa with the Elephants

   • Take a mud spa together with the elephants (wear your swimming suit).
8. River Walk: Bathing & Brushing the Elephants

   • Walk down to the river and enjoy bathing and brushing the elephants, with more wonderful photo opportunities.
9. Farewell & Waterfall Visit

   • Say farewell to your elephants and new friends at Chiang Mai Elephant Home after a memorable experience.
   • Leave for a beautiful waterfall where you can swim and relax.
10. Return to Your Hotel

    • Return to your hotel or accommodation in Chiang Mai City around 4:30 – 5:30 pm.

* We let you spend as much time as possible with the elephants, so aside from pick-up times, the times above are approximate and the order of activities may vary.
